Blais Racing finned inner CV heat sinks for the 2017-23 Canam Maverick X3 were designed out of necessity. In the California and Nevada desert we experience extreme summer temperatures. With the stock CV we have had many issues melting the inner CV boot. Most people think they just got a torn boot from a rock or stick, but its normally from getting so hot its actually melting. We experience this on our race cars even in moderate temperatures. We have been running this setup the last couple years with big success. This will lower the overall CV temps by over 50 degrees and keep your boots in tact along with your grease. The CV will last longer and look much better upon inspection.
This is a set of finned inner CV heat sinks for the front and rear of your Can-Am X3 for stock CV joints. These slide on and then you will tighten down the 4 set screws to hold them on. These can easily be transfered onto a new set of stock axles down the road. These can only be installed with the axle removed from the car. These only come in raw machined aluminum at this time.
