HRT's Radius Cage is unlike any other cage on the market allowing you to use your stock style front windshields such as BRP Glass, Bent Metal and so on! This cage is fully TIG welded and made from 1.750" x .120" or .095" DOM tubing.
HRT allows customization to fit accessories. After purchasing the cage, HRT will contact you to get details on your own accessories (i.e. specific chase lights, light bars, side mirrors, etc.) and at that time will review the build with you to ensure everything is perfectly built the first time.
This Can Am X3 cage is specifically fabricated for your OEM cage type windshield! OEM glass, OEM polycarbonate, Bent Metal, EMP, and Amazon special windshields have been tested. This max cage design is where driver and passenger head to cage clearance height is the same as stock, but about 2-3/4" lower in the rear, measuring from the OEM C-pillar pad vertically, but only about 2" lower than stock where rear passenger heads actually are. A 6'2" tall person without a helmet has been fitted in the stock rear seat location with no issues of head clearance. The B-pillar plastic covers fit right in place without having to notch them, along with the rear down bars mounting in the factory bed support location.
All of our cage rear down bars (by the bed mounts) have couplers welded on, enabling you to add HRT rear bumpers or build your own at a later date! Although you can add our bumpers on at a later time, we STRONGLY recommend HRT building the bumper at the time of building the cage to ensure proper fitment. Doing the cage and bumper at the same time also saves on shipping and powder coat matching costs.
**Note: ALL OF OUR REAR BUMPERS USE OUR BUMPER MOUNT REAR RADIUS ROD PLATE THAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF BUMPER**
Our unique 4-piece T-Top split flat Dzus on flat roof design allows you to remove the roof on nice days and allows HRT to incorporate belt mount storage or helmet hooks in the roof accessing it easily by removing any of the panels quick turn Dzus fasteners with a screwdriver!
All 4 roof panels will be fitted with ultra thin foam to prevent rattles and leaks if we powdercoat the cage!
Rear Windows are made out of Polycarbonate material and the Dark Tint is not scratch resistant.
OEM Glass style windshield option adds specially fabricated Aluminum A-pillar sleeves for proper windshield fitment, if choosing mirror mounts, they will be higher on the cage to allow BRP windshield mounts to be locked in place.
