HRT's shock tower support brace is hand fabricated.  It is a 100% TIG welded steel face plate with added dimple dies for extra rigidity and strength.  When HRT did the engineering, we decided to go with round tubing structure, Billet CNC shock mount cups and bent brackets.

HRT incorporated a clearance if needed for a BRP washer reservoir and lower fill neck.  The shock tower support features radiator tab mounts, and limit strap mounts!

The HRT Shock Tower Support fits all X3 models including new 2022 and smart shock models.

Every HRT heavy duty limit strap is sewn 4 layers thick with 10,000lb webbing, designed for the rigors of off-road abuse and are vital in suspension setups helping to prevent damage to suspension and drivetrain components. Without limit straps, the force of your vehicle’s unsprung weight can cause damage to axles, ball joints and shocks at high speeds over rough sections or jumping.

Limit straps can also prevent damage to your CV joints. All CV joints have a maximum amount of degree of deflection at which they can safely be run. With custom suspension setups, the deflection angle can go farther than the CV joint can handle, resulting in damage, shorter run life, and CV failure. Limit straps can prevent this by reducing the amount of maximum angle on your axles.
