Product Overview

This is a custom order.  You have 48 hours from the time it is placed to cancel the order.  After 48 hours the order cannot be refunded even with extended lead times.

Typical lead time is 1-2 weeks, but can vary depending on the volume of orders.  Thanks in advance for your patience.

The most commonly asked question is: How do they seal?  Our intricate window frames are fully TIG welded from DOM steel for strength.  The frame actually pulls the window into the roll cage frame.  HRT has perfected the design with inner latches and guide levers. This window and frame style is what we have been using on our drag race cars for 20 plus years keeping the windows sealed tight with speeds of 240+ mph in the quarter mile.

Mirror Mount: If you are running BRP style mirrors that mount in the factory location, we add our mounts to the window frames so you can relocate them slightly lower.  We also make the mounts adjustable for the ease of getting your perfect side view, which allows you to open and close your doors.  With all other clamp on style mirrors, you will need to modify the windows by notching them with a Dremel or jig saw to allow the door to open and close.

Light Bar Cut Notch: If you have a light bar that bolts to the sides of the roll cage, we cut a clearance in the window before shipping. Depending on your light bar bracket, you might have to sand the windows more or modify your mount to get a proper seal to the roll cage gusset.  (If you have roof mounted light bars you will not need a notch.)

Our windows seal to the centerline of the roll cage. They do fit aftermarket roofs, but depending on your roof (audio roofs specifically) you might need to trim the roof up or trim the window.

These window kits are made from polycarbonate, basically what is used for bullet proof glass.  Polycarbonate will not snap even if you try to fold it in half.  This makes it the ideal material to be used for UTV applications. It is a very common misconception and a MAJOR NO for people to use Acrylic.  Acrylic is very dangerous and can snap and injure or kill a person, just like a glass window in your house.

The tinting process is smoked or impregnated into the polycarbonate. It is unlike automotive window tint that will bubble and peel off.

The windows come blank and you will have to drill 3/16" window holes in the polycarbonate but this is easily done by using our frames as a drill guide.  This allows you to set your proper gaps for the proper fit.  This is done because every Can-Am chassis is slightly different from another and factory mounting locations can change up to 3/8".

HRT RECOMMENDS ADDING OUR DOOR BUSHING KIT WHEN BUYING THIS WINDOW KIT.  The more weight you put on the door the worse it will sag, either from the added lower door panels or windows.  Stock doors sag straight from the factory and have wobble.  This kit will tighten that play up. We have a video link on the door bushing product page.

HRT RECOMMENDS ADDING A HEATER OR FAN TO THIS WINDOW KIT.  The windows can fog up.  You can make your own or we offer the HRT Turbo Heater W/Reversible Switch on this website.

Remember standard polycarbonate will scratch and over time get hair-like swirls.  We use Meguiar's PlastX polish to buff out light scratches.  You will not be able to get out deep craters.  The scratch resistant material is awesome, unlike issues people have with hard coat windshields scratching.  Remember that the windshield is getting hit and wipers are being used on it versus a side window.

Be sure to check out our window rivnut install tool kit and cleco tool kits to help ease of installation.
